Biological Farming Round Table
WHOS SHARING?
David and Fiona, along with sons Alastair and Tim Austin, farm 1500Ha’s of pasture with a self-replacing merino flock, 2000Ha of cereal crops on grey cracking to red clay, with a 400mm annual rainfall. The Austin’s operate a pasture cropping system, have their own worm farm, compost extract machine, and are beginning to implement holistic grazing.
WHY?
The Biological Farming Roundtable is to facilitate discussion on biological farming, assisting farmers to explore innovative, low input, regenerative farming systems. The group supports each other’s journey in an emerging regenerative agricultural paradigm where dominant conventional views can often be a barrier to change and success.
